Most mail order bikes come in an unopened factory box and require you to assemble the brakes and adjust the derailleur so they work correctly, as well as install the wheel hubs and handlebar stem .While this is not complicated it does take time and experience to do the job right. All my finished bikes are pre-assembled and adjusted prior to shipping, just as if you purchased from my retail location.. Usually installation of the front wheel and tightening the handle bars is all that is required to ride. The front/rear brakes are pre-adjusted as are the derailleur. Brake installation and drive train adjustment is what takes time and knowledge to do right and is taken care of already.
